How to acquire a license
For any use beyond the personal-reference scope above, contact us:
Include in your request: (1) what you want to use, (2) where it will appear, (3) commercial or non-commercial, (4) duration of use. Most non-commercial educational requests are granted at no cost.
License fee schedule (commercial use)
- Single image, single advertisement: HK$2,000 / 12 months
- Photo set (up to 10 images), commercial website: HK$8,000 / 12 months
- Written content, paraphrased adaptation: case-by-case quote
- Video content embedding: case-by-case quote
Unauthorised use
If we discover unauthorised commercial use of our content, we reserve the right to issue a takedown notice + invoice for retroactive licensing at 200% of the standard fee schedule above.
Third-party content on our site
Some pages cite external statistics, regulations, or public data (e.g., HK Observatory rainfall data, BMO Cap 344 references). These remain the property of their respective owners and are cited under fair-use / educational quotation as permitted under HK Copyright Ordinance Cap. 528.
