Kwun Tong has one of HK's most diverse building mixes — from 1960s public housing estates (cast iron pipes, heavily corroded after 60+ years) to brand-new private developments like Grand Austin and Albion Heights. The area's industrial heritage means many factory buildings have been converted to workshops and studios with ageing drain systems not designed for their current use. The Kwun Tong redevelopment zone has many buildings in transition, where drain infrastructure may not keep up with new occupancy loads. Restaurant density along Hip Wo Street and around the Kwun Tong MTR station means grease-trap and kitchen drain issues are common — we handle both residential and small commercial.
